# A website form says your file is too large

A website form often refuses a phone photo or a scan that is only a little over a kilobyte or megabyte limit. The same little problem shows up on government, tax, exam, visa, job, insurance, and marketplace sites around the world. **SizeCap is where you fix the size part.** Type the number from that form. ## The little problems people hit

- **The file is too large.** A modern phone photo is often 3–12 MB. The form wants 50 KB, 200 KB, 1 MB, or 5 MB. Set that cap here.
- **Several files share one remaining budget.** The site counts every attachment together. Add every JPEG and set that total.
- **The file became too small.** Some exam and ID forms also have a minimum, such as 10 KB or 20 KB. Stay a little under the maximum so the JPEG does not collapse.
- **The phone saved HEIC.** Many forms only accept JPEG. SizeCap cannot open HEIC yet. Export or share the photo as JPEG first, then add that file.
- **The site counts a kilobyte as 1,000 bytes.** SizeCap counts 1,024. Stay a little under the printed number and check the byte count on the result.
- **The filename has spaces or accents.** Some older forms fail before they weigh the file. Rename the saved JPEG to a short name such as photo.jpg, then upload that copy.

SizeCap does not crop a face, replace a background, unlock a password PDF, or send the file to that website. It makes the JPEG or PDF small enough that the form can accept it.

## Websites people name, in many countries

- **LHDN MyTax / MITRS** — official PDF slot often 20 MB. Try [15 MB](https://sizecap.com/pdf/?cap=15mb).
- **IRAS** Form C files are often 4 MB; myTax Mail is often 10 MB. Try [4 MB](https://sizecap.com/pdf/?cap=4mb).
- **AFIP / ARCA**, **DIAN**, **SII**, and **SUNAT** — commonly 9–20 MB per file or per send. Stay a little under the number on that screen.
- **IRD myIR** — some mail slots are 5 MB. **GİB** feedback is often 5 MB. **Intervat** annexes are officially 5 MB.
- **Teletalk** exam photos are often 4–100 KB. **Pakistan Online Visa** files are officially 500 KB. **Vietnam e-visa** portraits are commonly discussed as 1–2 MB. **ImmiAccount** attachments are often 5 MB.

## When SizeCap will not finish the job

- A password-protected or digitally signed PDF, or an Excel or XML import.
- A booth-code or live biometric photo (for example some ANTS, Absher, Aadhaar, or NIMC flows).
- Exact millimetre frames and white-background replacement.
