Listing photos will not upload
Selling sites often cap how large a listing photo can be. Some cap each file. Others cap the whole listing. SizeCap helps you shrink the set on your device, then upload the smaller JPEGs.
When this helps a lot
- The site rejects a photo from your phone because the file is too large.
- You have a folder of product shots that share one listing budget.
- You need the same photos on more than one selling site and keep hitting size errors.
Per-photo limit or one listing limit?
Read the upload message. If it names a size for each image, add one photo, switch the unit to KB or MB, and stay a little under that number. Repeat for the next photo. SizeCap uses the same quality and scale only for the files you add together.
If the listing has one total, add every photo and set that total. Leave a little room — sites do not always count megabytes the same way.
- Add the listing photos. JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, and AVIF are fine. HEIC is not.
- Choose the limit that matches the site: one photo, or the whole set.
- Compress and check that labels, wear, and color still look right. Buyers need to see the item.
- Save the JPEGs and upload those files to the listing.
SizeCap does not resize to an exact pixel box some sites ask for. If you also need a square crop or a white background, do that first, then come back to hit the size cap.
