Claim photos have to share one upload limit
A claim or warranty form often lets you attach several photos — then rejects the whole set because the upload is too large. Making each picture a little smaller by hand is slow. SizeCap sets one limit for the group.
When this helps a lot
- You have many photos of the same incident: a car, a room, a parcel, or a receipt.
- The form shows one remaining upload budget for every file together.
- You would rather shrink the photos on your phone or computer than send the originals to another website first.
How to stay under the claim’s limit
- Add all the photos you plan to send.
- Enter a total a little under the form’s limit. If it says 10 MB, try 8 MB so a ZIP or the form’s own packaging still fits.
- Compress and check the results. A dark or detailed photo may stay larger than a simple one, even at the same quality.
- Download the JPEGs, or a ZIP if the form accepts one. Open a couple of photos to be sure the damage or text is still visible.
The limit applies to the JPEGs themselves. A ZIP is slightly larger because it stores the files together. If the form is strict, set a lower cap and weigh the file you will attach.
Your photos stay on this device
Claim photos can be personal. SizeCap does not upload them. They leave your device only when you attach the smaller files in the insurer’s or shop’s form.
If each photo has its own KB limit, shrink them one at a time. If you are emailing the adjuster instead, leave room for the message.
